Hi! I am Katie from Tacoma, WA and own a 74 Maverick. She is in a very good restorable shape. I need to find a "Maverick" person who is passionate about Mavs and has the ability to work on her. It was in a fender bender a couple of weeks ago (parked on the street and someone ran into it) The insurance company totalled it out and paid me damages, I bought it back because I didn't want it to go to the crusher. The body and interior are in excellent shape (for it's age, mind...), straight body, very little rust, minimal body damage (dings and scratches mainly) vinyl top needs replacing. Interior has no rips or tears (needs to be re-covered for it is cloth and worn shiny), dash is intact, etc...Factory tinted windows, automatic straight six. (Ford yellow with black vinyl top and black interior, no funky plaid, lol!) LOW MILES, 74k. Would anyone be interested in seeing photos and maybe wanting to take this car on? Or at least be able to steer me in the right direction towards getting this car into the right hands? If no one wants to restore her, she will at least give alot of good parts.
