I cant get it off. Is it the bolt on the subframe that's holding the bracket in? Spot welded? BFH didnt work, i guess we will have to cut the back of the car off with a cutting torch.
http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=44592&highlight=remove+rear+bumper i found it Apparently the torch will spill be used since one of the bolts is spinning around.
Ahhh, brings back memories...of being 18, laying on my back in my Mom's driveway, trying to get those bolts out of the bottom...I think I was 130 lbs back then, I had no weight to put into it...and they never got changed, I just kept the big bumpers...
I had a spinner while removing the front bumper. Ended up cutting into the lower rad support. Stupid spinners.
When I redo my bumpers I'm welding the bolts/brackets to the bumpers themselves. No spinners and no ugly bolt caps on the top of the bumper. Not worried about discoloring the metal, they will be painted/powdercoated anyways.
