    1974 Mercury Comet 4dr
    I recently became the proud owner of a 1974 Mercury Comet,
    bought it off my buddy for $100
    it runs though :p
    has a 250 straight 6
    4dr
    green
    lots of small things wrong with it though
    mainly it runs rough at low speeds,
    power steering leak,
    drivers door wont open from outside
    and interior is rough
    just looking for some friendly people and perhaps some advice

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    Look for a tag on the carb, or for the marking. You should be able to get a rebuild kit at any parts store.

    rebuilt the carb today, installed a seat belt, and fixed my door latch
    looking to buff out the paint job soon
