Welcome to the forum from Northeastern Illinois. Lot's of Mav info. on this site. Lot's of threads on brake upgrades ck out the tech section. I don't think you'll find many if any ideas on putting in an FE series block in the Mav chassis.
    Gud luck w/ the Mav:Handshake

:Welcome: from the great NW. If you remove the front suspension, the shock towers and replace them with a pinto style front suspension with rack and pinion steering you should have plenty of room for a big block. Otherwise, no.:tiphat:

Welcome from eastern N.C. :Welcome: Even the 351W has it's own fitment trouble. That's what I run, and even it requires modifying the car to get it to fit. Check this link out, the car belongs to Bigford598. That's what you'll have to do to run a 460.

If you take a look at "my images" in my user name, you will see what kind of work might be helpful in fitting a 460 into a Maverick. It has been done leaving the inner spring towers in the car but you would have to at least modify them and relocate them outboard somewhat.
