    HI all
I hope I can be of help to some and I know some well be of help to me.. I'm not new to the projects.. Been working on car's sence 1966. I used to race round-d-round for 5 years anyway. I do all my own work as much as I can, I'm no machinest tho. As you can see in the pictures below my shop is the great outdoors.. LOL...

My Mavrick (74) is being delievered this weekend. No pictures yet. its going to be my bracket car with a 302/C4. KB dome piston's, E street heads, Most likely RPM Cam. performer intake, 650 holley, headers, timing gear set.

My daily dirver is my 61 comet (pictured below). Orginaly a 170 cu., now 200 I-6 3 speed on the column. Purity much stock execpt for a header, 250 head milled 60 thousands (Pictured below), tranny is out of a 74 mav.
My hot rod is a 1964 International 4 door truck, (pictured below) Powered by a 1977 460- 400hp/tq, 30 over, flat top, RPM cam, ballanced bottom. D3 heads home ported, (pictured below) 14.5 1/4 @93mph. (not bad for 4,500 lbs of steel) have video clip. C6 with shift kit and extra friction disc, 9" w/detroit true-trac 3:50 gears, 31 splin Moser axle's. I have replaced the front frame clip with a 72 Ford for the twin I beam.
Thats all I can think of.. redneck to go...
    Take care

I spent 20 some years building circle track cars for pavement - lot of good times and equally a lot of bad times :D

Also spent 9 years working for a company based in Bosie Idaho called Morrison Knudsen. We rebuilt EMD locomotives in their eastern plant in PA until their CEO got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar.

That is one nice looking Cornbinder you have there :thumbs2:

    HI
Yea .. I remember M.K. .. There still rebuilding Locomotives here at the spot out Federal Way. Main down town building been gone a long time, building there but its not M.K. anymore.. I can't think if the locomotive rebuild shop is still M.K. tho.. It might be Yanke's now...
Round-d-Round. Boy that was kind of fun.. Tho I had some step-nefues (sp) that were heavy into it (the whole family on there side dad raced a long time) and were champ's in the class I ran but never got any help tho. I was like a fish out of water in the car good ness, did all my own work. Spent a lot of time spinning out comming out of 2 at Merdian. Only raced 5 years In the late 90's. Seamed like I crashed every race, as the saying goes.
"A race car never dies, You just get tired of fixing it."
I got tired of fixing it.. LOL:rofl2:
Yea Thanks... I like my binder:yup:. That pic of the is kind of old so now there's some primered spots getting read to repaint.. but it wasn't bad for spray can.:yahoo:. It sure surprises people when it just takes off and is gone when I nail it.
Thanks all and talk at ya later
    Tim

I like that old Comet for a daily driver. (y)

    My Mom's in Boise.
The old MK office, isn't that the one where the fountain out front would freeze in the winter?

Tim, I'll bet that you are familiar with Jalopy Jungle in Nampa.

Its unconfirmed as of yet but I will be the Idaho State rep. for all things Mav/Comet. Look forward to getting together for a car show. In Sept. they have Cruise Night in Payette. Generally, they have a cruise night every thursday, at the local A&W. But the actual car show is in late Sept and 400 plus car show up. Two mavs and my comet where there in the sea of camaros and mustangs. As far as towers, do you mean motor mounts? Is of right now I don't have motor mounts that I am willing to give up. But I have a parts car the has the tower sheet metal, but dont know of the condition as it still has the motor in?
