One of my local salvage yards has a 75 Maverick that I've been buying parts off of for the last few weeks. It's basically just like my 76 2dr, except it has more chrome. There is a chrome strip that runs just below the windows on both sides of the car from the edge of the boomerang trim to the rear of the doors, and then all the way to the front of the door. Did this additional chrome come with a special trim package? It doesn't look like my 76 ever had these pieces as there's no screw hole evident where it would attach on the inside edge of the front of the doors. I think I'll buy them even if i don't use them. I'd hate to think I let em go to the crusher.
Here's a pic of what I'm talking about

    It's called "Bright Window Frames"
On Mavericks, it was part of the Exterior Decor Group, which was:
    Vinyl Insert Body Side Molding
    Bright Window Frames
    Belt Molding
    Accent Paint Stripe
    Wheel Covers
(but the entire Exterior decor group was not available on LDO's or Grabbers)

On Grabbers, Bright Window Frames, was part of the exterior options.

Wow that's pretty cool! My car had ALL of those things.(except for the vinyl trim, it had the belt one instead.) Too bad I took off all of those things already :D well except for the window trim. It's the only thing I liked.

Does your car have the chrome on the edge of the doors by the window? That's what I figure is "Belt Molding"

OK, I just looked at the book the salesmen would use to order the cars, and it shows it available with LDO's, 3 different pieces of paper from Ford, all say different hings, one say no, one doesn't say, and one says yes, but some items deleted....

I thought by belt molding it was the molding by a person's belt line haha.
