downloaded membership and about to mail it in,,I have been here so long ,,just want to let the guys know,,if it wasn't for this forum,,i would be still driving a six banger and scratching my head on a few things,,,( come to think about it ,,i would be richer though )
now the 77 comet is something to be proud of ,,heres a pic at the last car meet,,
a big change ,302, posi, front and back sway bars , alum rad, floor shifter, grabber spoiler, gt hood with scoop, gt mirrors, alum slots, disk brakes all around and the small bumpers , in april she gets a new paint job with gt stripes ( dark blue ) and rest of paint to hood and taillights,,she stays the same color ( getting used to it ,,call it my chick magnet )

theres alot of knowledge out there and its about time i stepped up to support this forum,,

    thank you again,
    Ron

    thanks,

forgot to mention,,fred did a great job on the highbuckets covers ,i got from the wrecked gt i had. Only too happy to pass the pattern on,
and i forgot to say ,,the car still has its original paint on it never redone to this day but there are a few scratches and age showing ,,no rust ever,,

there is so many people who assisted in the vehicle and the knowledge passed on ,,the car would never got to this point !!

hoping to have everything done , paint and stripes to be ready for long drive to this years meeting in michigan ,,the car is meant for driving ,,

    Ron

That last line says it all. I've learned so much here and get surprised at least once a month with some obscure and eye-opening fact someone brings out. Like my signature says---"one of the rare forums worth paid support". I urge all of you who have the means to support it do so--it's a bargain for what we get out of it.
