i got my camera to work today, my computer was infected with all kinds of hyjackers, spy bot got my computer to work not like it should but almost. the mav. needs a lot of work, but that is fun not work for me. working on the maverick with a muscle disease is not easy, things take more time . time well spent and when i finish something, the pain is happy pain. having this car is the best move i ever made. i have pictures of my 72 2dr maverick that i had back in 1973 when i find them i will post them.
That looks like a nice 4 door. Hope you enjoy it through all your pain, and sorry to hear that you have to go through that. Keep us up to date on your progress.
Good Looking Car!! Not a bad car to start with at all. Good luck with it, and like Ward F said, keep us posted. Oh yeah, WELCOME ABOARD!! :bananaman Country Mav
Very nice......It appears to be in good shape, to start a project on. Keep us posted. And lots of pics, we love pics.....Good luck!
Nice color! Hey that's a beautiful car! And funnily enough, when I pulled the carpet out of Ethel a couple days ago, the floor underneath (where it's not rusty) is that color. Apparently Ethel was originally light blue, and was repainted the medium blue before I bought her. I liked the color so much when I saw it on the hump, I'm going to try to get her painted back that color. I never thought I'd like it, really, since I've seen it on a few old Torinos around here, but I think it will look great on my Mav. Seeing the photo you posted just makes me like it even more. That's a great car. Isn't working on them fun? Even when it's hot, dirty, nasty work. It's still fun. My72Mav
:bananaman :bananaman :bananaman YEAA!!! another 72 4 door.. i thought they were nonexistent. now i just wish mine looked as nice as yours. but i am enjoying the "discovery process" i hope yours goes well. much luck to you

Nice ride. That is great to hear that you are going above the pain to enjoy your hobby. I am with you on this. I have a bone desease that gives me a hell of allot of pain. Before I had it. There use to be all kinds of things going on in my garage. That all stopped. Not to mention at the time of the oncoming of my illness. The home owners assosiation put an end to my cars. I was in the middle of a build of my 71 Camaro. This was in 97 when this all went down. That car is still all tore down an in storage I have to pay for. No hope in site for it to be coming home. I have had my 4 door 74 Comet for almost 2 years now. It was given to us by a moving neighbor. What a great thing. Then we lost our main car, and it became our main mode of transport. We just got a replacement for it, and now it has become my toy. Now I have to get in my garage and turn it back into what it use to be. A shop. (It is a mess and just a garage with tons of stored JUNK in it) i am hope that this will be the thing I need to help me out mentaly. Like you, It takes me allot longer now a days. But I know it will be just as fun. Matt
