I saw this '73 Mav (only one) today at the "cruise in" at the semi annual Rod Run in old town Temecula, CA. The owner has a custom upholstry shop here in San Jacinto. He says he'd "let it go" for 14k. Notice the bench seat with the fold down arm rest. Also, a custom interior & trunk job like this one goes for about 5k. Enjoy!
Thanks for posting the pics! Nice looking engine bay, with the FACTORY A/C setup. It also looks like it is set up with the trim for a Halo vinyl top...without the vinyl top
Yeah, he said he liked the trim but not the vinyl top. My car originally had the the halo vinyl top but the PO removed it and "lost" all the trim, so it will be deleted from my Comet along with all the side trim. I have a million little holes to fill...lol
I wish I knew about this show! I had a free day today and just wasted it. The bench seat with fold down armrest was an option in 77 I think.
Thanks for the photos - I can't wait till the show schedule starts here in the North East - another couple of weeks
Whats with the comet gravel pan? Surprised they put that much work into it and left the 73 front bumper or at the very least the bumperettes
