The rear window gasket that I got from AutoKrafter was about 2 1/2 inches too long and 2 1/2 inches too high. I don't blame autokrafter, the packaging from Daniel Carpenter indicated it was for a 2DR Maverick. It was a brand new gasket manufactured in Feb 2011.

Calling AutoKrafter to have it sent back.

UH-OH, I hope they don't screw mine up. Just ordered the whole kit and I'm waiting on the front and rear gaskets.

I bough a windsheild gasket and a backglass gasket at the same time, one was from The Maverickconnection and the other was from Autokrafters, but don't remember which came from which. I do remember one was imported from overseas and the other was made in the USA, but again don't remember which was which. Both were correct, though.....

Has anyone bought Steele Rubber products? Are they mfg's for some f the other vendors who sell rubber products for our cars?
Im hearing all kinds of stuff regarding folks getting gaskets that don't fit frm various sources.

AutoKrafters was a gem. They are taking it back and refunding the shipping it will cost me to send it back.

Remember I had two gaskets at one point in time. Well the one I got off ebay fit perfectly (or I would have no rear window at this time). I am going to order another one from this guy to fulfill my commitment to the person who bought the 2nd gasket from me. It was $50 plus $12 for shipping.

My front gasket was from Steele Rubber, also a Daniel Carpenter - fit perfectly too. Again, I don't think this was an AutoKrafter issue. They sent me the right package. The gasket was package wrong.

BTW the mav looks sooooo much better with new windshield and rear window gaskets. :) Now when I get back from vacation, time to shine up the chrome and buy some clips. Probably will send her for paint before I reinstall the chrome.

    Hmmmmmm..

I have a rear glass gaskett in a whole kit box from a couple of years ago.. I keep meaning to check it. I have seen several threads created concerning the fit. I guess I better get to it before my warranty expires :16suspect

off ebay fit perfectly - what's the ebay link -please?
Im not clear on what upgrades u did. U replace front windshield and gasket, also rear gasket only? U replaced them urself or had some one do it?
I am going to replace my windshield gasket and probably windshield too, cuz it has some fine nicks in it as it might have been arnd someone grinding on metal and the metal scratched the windshield.

I just installed one from AK a couple months ago, fit perfectly. Hope it was just a fluke!
