And they only charge an extra $20 for colors. Not bad at all. And I'm sure it's the same ones we've already been getting.
I think there is only one company that actually makes them. Accuform. Others just sell them. They work pretty good. If you let them get pretty hot they will warp.
Me too, I didn't notice that before. That definitely seems high as this should be a light package. Maybe it's the size?
Shipping cost I can ship my Monte Carlo bar from Wisconsin to the Coast via UPS ground for about 1/2 of that amount. My M/C package is 43" X 9" X 8". Would a dash cap be much different?
their shipping is a flat rate for these dash caps to anywhere in the 48 states. So if you're 20 miles away you'd pay the same if they sent it to Seattle, Wa or Miami Florida.
I have found out that they kill you on oversize packages. I have more than once brought a package back, cut it down one inch, and save $15.00 shipping. I'm fighting that right now. A guy in Brazil is trying to get a pair of kick panels from me. This box measures 20"x17"x2" making a total size of 39". I can't get it any smaller. If the box is over 36" the cost goes from $18.00 to $32.00. Unbelievable!!!
Size matters.. Finding the right size box is another obsticle.. Then the crazy questions at the counter..
