Welcome to the forum :Handshake The best thing you can do at the moment is to continue to read on this forum as to what others have done and what common problems Mavericks are prone to, the sky and money are your only limits.

There are quite a few Washington members on this site that could probably help you with locating parts that may be needed for any conversion you might want to do

Brakes and suspension upgrades before anything, that's what I've been told (I'm pretty new too). Welcome :tiphat:. Post some pics of your new Maverick. I like seeing other people's cars no matter what the condition (y)

    Welcome to the forum!

First thing I would do is go over the general maintenance and inspect the car. Then sit back and think about what you want and what your budget is.

I'd pop a few bucks for a fuel filter straight off. My car has a 200 in it as well and I love that little motor. Simple to maintain but it can get pretty expensive to turn them into "performers". Check out www.fordsix.com for a lot of great info on the engine.

Welcome to the site. First thing i would do is make it safe to drive, then you have a rolling project. From there you can do everything else the car needs at your lesiure, and you have the added bonus of realizing your progress by driving the car after your upgrades. good luck and have fun.

    Welcome

Welcome to the forum from Northeastern Illinois. I agree w/ those who have made the point of safety. I do brakes, steering and suspension first "in that order", and everything else follows. Gud luck w/ the Mav.:Welcome:
