    How far above the upper control arm mounting studs did you make the horizontal cut?

    I cut mine 1 1/2 inches above the bolts. If you go to my images you can see a pic of what I cut out.

    Cut mine out today. Did the first side with an abrasive cut-off wheel. After I saw how much room was inside there I just used a sawzall to cut the second side. That went really fast.

    Started welding mine up yesterday. I did the shelby drop and made my cut right at the top of where the old UCA holes are.

    I went with 16 gauge because that is what is already there.
