    Friend of mine just got a place up in Heber. I go up to Pinetop usually every other week in the Summer. Will probablly go up again the week after next. I brought back 34 big bags of leaves yesterday. I have a friend that rototills them into his garden.:)

    Tomorrow: Rain diminishing to a few showers in the afternoon. Thunder possible. High 53F. SSE winds shifting to N at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall near a half an inch.
    Tomorrow night: A shower or two possible early with partly cloudy skies later at night. Low 44F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

    Stupid rain. What are the odds that two random days chosen months in advance for a meet just happen to have god size rain storms. This is just stupid.

    Ok so if Central is rained out then who is going to Speedworld on Sunday? I am.

    Maybe we should plan a Vegas trip. If our luck holds out it may be the biggest win ever! Having said that, I still don't have rain here yet. I will keep my fingers crossed FWIW.

    The Northern Arizona Shootout race for Saturday has already been cancelled and will be re-scheduled. If it looks like rain for the cruise I may bow out...I'm so pissed :( I am planning to go out to Speedworld on Sunday regardless of whether the cruise is on or not...weather permitting.

    Well it's official...

    POSTPONED Cruise On Central DUE TO RAIN, New Date April 30th
    Cruise on Central at Park Central Mall, Napa Nights of Thunder, drag cars firing up, all makes models and years, Live Coverage, Roddin and Racin, ,and Lowrider magazine covering event, Great music by Higher Power Band,Dj's, Great family fun vendors, great food parking starts at 1 show until 9p.m. Please follow all laws, no alcohol and just have fun!

    Yeah, and I was hesitant to cancel it if everyone had already made plans and it might go off. But it was postponed for me so I didn't have to make the call.

    Speedworld has all the typical stuff as a Saturday, Street trophy, test n tune, and Rislone series 8 and 9 second cars. Plus club day lanes. I'm planning on going in on the AzMustangs club day. They are having a benefit for one of the guys who is in need of a Kidney plansplant. I'm not sure how any of the money for the Club day is being kicked back to the guy or if they are just meeting there and having raffles but i'll see if I can find out more.
