Sure you can. Just get rid of the 30 plus year old wheels that were built for the tires available in the 70's. Mavs actually have a lot of room for wheel combos. 275's fit under the back with the right wheel.
Lots of muscle cars that cant take a tire that wide without mods.

I agree with the steering wheel, but I'll go one further and say it's the idiot horn strip that wants to start blowing the horn when it feels like! I've had to replace that thing 3 times!

Oh, this thread is gonna be a good one! My vote goes to the the little "joystick" type adjuster thing on the driver's side sport mirror, but it has some tough competition.

I would have to agree those hood hinges are a pain
I have to wiggle and twist the hood just to open mine

I am going to say it is the semi-rigid plastic trim/molding that runs around the inside of the door and basically covers the edge of the headliner. I say that because in both of my Mavericks it doesn't want to stay in places and when it wiggles it's way loose it leave a nice little hole straight through to the outside. Took the 73 Grabber througha car wash a couple weeks ago and the water pretty much spray through right inside the car LOL. I banged it back into place with the heel of my hand and it will stay there now for a little while and work it's way loose again.

You can buy that stuff, or a reasonable facsimile, brand new at the parts store.

But does it do any better of a job than the old stuff? I have never really bothered with trying to replace it because I just figured that's the way it was new or old?

Don't know. The stuff I took off may or may not have been original, but I did have to push it back on pretty often. Haven't had to do that with the new stuff, so I'd say most likely yes. At least for now.
