$300+ for dual exhaust, and I supplied the mufflers and hangers, along with the header reducers! 4 bent pipes in mild steel! I'm opening an exhaust shop.........!

The car is only worth $400.00............

    I love classic cars!!!!

p.s. Kind of a rush running down the highway with open headers to the muffler shop! GA HP kept their distance!!!

$300 don't seem like too much to me, i would get gettign dual exhaust would be at least $500. but then again i aint too good at guessing prices

Here in Arkansas, I got everything from the headers back (duels W/ Flowmasters) for $250 plus tax. He wanted $200 for the pipe work and use my old mufflers and said he's do 2 new mufflers for $50 more. I said , do it. He must have got them dumped on him and was just trying to get his $ back

That's why DIY is better :bouncy:
My last exhaust was $60 for all, including the two 40s flowmasters.

I then sold the exhaust for double.

Planning to make my own again for the new engine, reducers are expensive!
So i'm making my own collectors with built in reducers, and for sure they'll work better than the crappy ones on the cheap headers.

I did mine from the headers to the mufflers for about $100, then had a local shop add the over the axle pipes for $150.

I traded installing a supercharger kit for my exhaust. all stainless mandrel bent with flowmasters, an x-pipe and polished tips and it drops out in sections. He said he would charge between $1200-1300 for it if I came in off the street. $300 sounds like a deal if it's a good install.

No way I would have paid that kind of money if I wasn't bartering
