Thank you for the words, ive waited so long to have the car look like this. Yea, theyre cragers. I had planned to keep the back ones because they still have 235 60 15s about halfway still there and whenever i plan to beat on the car ill toss them on but i might sell them now seeing as though i need some more mula.

Your car looks very nice but the slots were cooler...especially if you'd had them polished...

See I agree with TL.....I had my slots all shiney and I really liked them, but I had a guy at the round-up that made the comment that I ruined them when I polished them up.........different strokes for different folks.

You can't go wrong with "shiney" or "chrome".

Looking good Todd. (y) The new wheels really set the car off nice. I remember how bad the old slots were. The new wheels are a huge improvement. Take care of that " chick magnet".;)

Thanks again for the comments. It really makes me feel good.

Im sorry t.l. if im being rude or mean but honestly when you tell me that you like slots better after I show i got new wheels, it does nothing constructive but make me feel like hell. I dont see why being negative is necessary. again im not trying to be mean or start fights but i worked very hard over the summer to buy those wheels and tires and to have somebody tell me that the old ones were better its a real downer. Sometimes its knowing what not to say is best.

Hey Todd, I did not mean any insult toward you and I'm sorry if I offended you. I was just being honest. The wheels you bought are cheap chrome and will start to rust within 3 years. I know because the first set of custom wheels I ever bought for my Maverick were those same ones (but black in the center). They are made of stamped steel, which is never perfectly straight and can cause balancing/vibration problems. The slots are a better wheels and they are worth more. They are not made anymore and are therefore collector items. They are aluminum which is lighter in weight and never rusts. They also happen to look great on Mavericks--especially when polished to a high luster. I'm sorry I didn't tell you what you wanted to hear (like most everyone else did) and ultimately, it's your car and you should make it look the way you like, regardless of what I think. Again, sorry if I made you feel bad...I happen to think your car is bad-ass and you should be proud of it...
