I've added a new picture that shows the linkage hooked up.

The final linkage will be spherical rod ends. This one works for now. Next the throttle linkage plate and cable linkage, then the fuel lines, air cleaner base. This project has become really a good time.

Now that is cool! I don't think I have ever seen triple carbs on an inline.

3 1bbls are getting common, this is a 3 2bbl set up. I have 3 progressive 2bbls mounted here with a non-progressive linkage. I am having fun making all the parts.

Isn't three carbs way too much carburetion for that six? How fast is your engine going to turn?

    Paul,
These carbs flow about 180cfm each. On the Primary side, with all three carbs open, that should be 270cfm, then at 3/4 throttle the secondaries should start to open, at WOT that should be 540cfm at best.
There are guys running 500cfm Holleys on their street 200's and 250's. I really don't think these are excessive. But I'll learn after the Short block is built and the thing starts.
As far as my target RPM, that will be around 5800.

Since 540 is enough carb for a 302 at 5800 rpm, yes, I would say that you are way over carbureted for a 200" six and two carbs would feed a 250 easily to 5800 rpm.
the formula to figure CFM is:
    CID x RPM / 3456
Multiply that by .75 for the street and .85-.9 for sreet and strip and 1.2 for track only (drag strip).

    250 x 5800 = 1,450,000 divided by 3456 = 419.5 CFM
    200 x 5800 = 1,160,000 divided by 3456 = 335.6 CFM

Paul, The idea is different, no one else is doing this. OK, I have also done the math, I am trying to build a hot 250, ok if 3 carbs is too much, I plan to remove the middle one and reconfigure the linkage and then see how it runs.
    Thanks
