Any good wrecking yards in the SEATAC area that haven't been picked over to bad? I'll be there in July and thought I'd look for some stuff I need for my car.

    Thanks!

I think they crush them all. Just the newer cars they keep. What do you need? I might have what you want.

    Mike,

I've got to do a thorough inventory of the pile of parts that are in the car. I know so far I'm missing the hood prop (probably the hardware for it too), parts of the drivers side sport mirror, radio, radio bezel, antenna, emblems.

Probably more than anything, I'm looking for sources of parts that I figure I'm going to need. There's not much in the way of Mavericks here in Alaska that I've found so far. It's making me wonder if that's why the former owner balked on the restoration he started.

I'll be building a shop behind the house this summer, and hope to begin work on the car in the fall / winter.

    maverick parts

If you post what you need in the parts wanted section of the forum there is always some one that will have what you need as for shipping that is another story but there are some people that live in washington that have Maverick and Comet parts so if you are going to be down here just make a list and post on the forum and we will respond. If one person does not have what you need somone else will. Mike has a ton of parts so he is a great source of parts and a great guy to deal with very fair on prices. Good luck

Thanks guys. I'll have a better handle on what I need after I get the shop built and get the project started. I don't have a place to lay out the pile of parts to inventory (and sort) it until then.

Sorting it is going to be a mess. I've got coffee cans / boxes of parts and nothing is labeled.

Task # 1 after the shop is built and the mav is in her new home, probably ought to be buying a shop manual and parts manual to help get what I've got on hand sorted and labeled.
