Don't believe that. Like someone else said, I doubt there is a line waiting to buy it up, but do not believe that he will hold it for you if someone else comes along with cash in hand and offers him close to the $400, it will be gone before you can blink. $$$$ Talks and al the rest walks..

Have had it happen more than once. The one that pissed me off the most was a 1968 Mustang coupe 302 car decent driveable shape but nothing great. Older guy had it for sale in the local Penny Saver. I went to look at it the night that the add came out. Told him I have the $$$ in the bank and was even going to give him asking price. Told him i will go to the bank and get the $$ and even told him I am taking off work early to come get it and bring you the Money tomorrow. Stopped and got the $$ out of the bank on the way home, went to work next day, told the boss I needed to leave early to go buy this cool Mustang, I got there and didn't see the car in the driveway??? WTF??? went up and knocked, thought maybe he moved it around back since he was suppose to be holding it for me. Knock knock, no answer. Left and came back still nobody home, waited a little while and tried calling from pay phone down the road. He answered, Yeah I thought I heard you knocking but I was asleep. I said well that's ok I am on the way to bring you the $$ and get the car from you... Oh no you can't do that, right after you left last nigh a guy came buy with the cash and offered me a couple hundred less but he had cash in hand so i sold it to him......

 

the car has the 250 in it what parts can i use for my v 8 swap?

 

The bellhousing and possibly the transmission and of course the 5 lug brakes and rearend

 

Lmk if you get it before you start stripping it if its got paper work I maybe interested in the shell

i need to know some thing how hard is it to remove the mold?

 

Lots of mold in my car when I got it. Exterior paint and trim: no problem. Interior painted surfaces: no problem. Headliner, fabrick and soft trim: difficult. Anywhere you can use a mild bleach solution will probably clean up pretty well.

 

I need an 1bbl carb air filter and throttle cable bracket.
