I'm wondering if there would be clearance issues with some headers.....:hmmm:

I think you are on the money as far as subframe connectors needing to also tie into the rockers.

I saw a Mustang article (I forget where) installed regular subframe connectors and measured changes in the door gap, as the car was jacked up, to show how much of an improvement they made. The result ... no appreciable difference when measured that way.

I have my own ideas around this. I will be interested in seeing what you come up with.

Hd belly bar on ps car

Here are the latest shots of the Heady Duty belly bar mounted on a Power Steering car. Just checking clearances. This car does not have the eccentric eliminators installed.

Prototype back to factory today for changes and order production run.

Export brace update. Shop is making a bending die this week. Production of part in 2 to 3 weeks? (Fingers crossed)

I am not giving up on the export brace, it will happen.

    Hd belly bar update

Picked up the final prototype HD belly bar. Took some weight and height out of it. Fits great.

I will have to paint it before posting pics.

    Hd belly bar in production

    Update: June 4

The heavy duty belly bar is in production. Metal cut, bent ready for welding.

I hope to have these ready for sale by next weekend. June 11

Not much progress on export brace, bending die is being machined, now.

Everything takes longer than you think. Best guess 2 to 3 weeks out yet.

    This is awesome!

I am hoping the MC bar will show up for Father's day.

Then I can buy the belly and export brace. :bananaman

Keep it up - I can't wait to see what else you come up with.

    Update

    Update: June 11

Well, disapointed again. Visited the factory yesterday. The production run of the HD belly bar is being welded up. About 8 units were done. These were promised to be completed by now. I am finding out, that everything takes longer than you think.

Been promised they will be sent to the powder coater by Wed. I do not have any info on the coaters turn around time, most likely 3 to 4 days. So, I might not get em till the week of the 20th. Still need to put together the hardware kit that will be included with the bar.

The Monte Carlo bar update is, that the Cad drawing is done and ready to be sent to the Plasma cutter. The bending die is 50% done. Best quess still 2 weeks to prototype.
