    Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I've been on.. A couple of months ago , I joined the forum after I found my Mav. I haven't done much to it yet as I had to complete other projects around the house....I did ask for some advice to what I should take care of first.. After checking the car out, I decided the front suspension should be first.. Replacing the parts looks obvious but, I doubt easy,I am not sure how to safely remove the coil springs.. Can you tell me the steps involved to get the springs out??

ps: I do plan to go to the gathering next month.
    Thanks,
    ~Glenn

I'm in the finally stages of rebuilding my front suspension, had a nice bump with uca but everything will work out. Before you start you need to decide on a budget!.. From there decide what needs to be replaced and if that part should be upgrade. For example roller perches seem to be the fav right now. As for taking it apart the task looks more daunting then it actually is. Buy or make one of these

From there have your impact gun handy for the fun task of busting bolts free. Also its a great time for the shelby drop.

Don't use an impact wrench on a coil spring compressor...the threads weren't made for that type of abuse.
