I'm preparing to install a fuse block as explained in this tech article, but I really don't get where/how to hook up to for power. By the looks of the disconnect terminal I have to lug it into a fuse socket in the stock fuse block but which one? I know a little bit about wiring and stuff, but I'm not really a whiz kid.

You can tie it into the accessory spot in the fuse box if you arent allready useing it.
Best bet would be a switched power source other than the fuse box or tie it to the starter solinoid on the battery side but...This will allways have power, even with the key off so, keep that in mind.

I have an aux box hooked to battery and activated by a 50 amp relay. Im using a 6 ganged raised fuse block # AF-RGFB6 frm. WWW.Wiringproducts.com. At present I turn on/off w/ an interior toggle switch. I have the stero, elec choke and volt meter at present. I don't like hookin things to a 40yr old fuse box. I have nothing there that did'nt come frm the factory. Like Mavman say's my box is not controled by the ign sw. it's on until I sw it of manually by toggle sw. Eventually I may hook it to an ign control.
I don't plan on hookin much more if anything to the aux box...
