Im gonna be running a t5 and a explorer 8.8 Ive read somewhere that a explorer driveshaft would work. If so is it a 2wd or 4wd shaft and what is the length from tip to tip

this is by no means a definitive answer, but the AWD ford aerostars came with an aluminum driveshaft that is commonly used in fox platform mustangs with T5s. if you find its a little too long, most competent driveshaft shops can shorten them for a reasonable price. there's one at the pick a part right around the corner that i can probably go over and measure when i get a couple spare minutes today or tomorrow.

A std 79-2004 Mustang driveshaft should fit. I have one in mine but with a C-4 and 9" rear. The T-5 and 8.8 have similar dimensions.
