the drive shaft end is to small for the tranny end and when i bought the van they said it was a c4 im not sure what trans it is and what needs to be done to make it work it seems to fit but wont allow me to jack it up high enough to install the headers. Does anyone know what i can do to get the headers on and the drive shaft to work or another car that will work. Thanks in advance

As far as the headers...the car has to be off the ground at least 24" to get the headers snaked up from the bottom. They'll go...but it's not something I'd enjoy doing every weekend lol.

    Good Luck with it...

if the yoke is too small to fit the trans tail shaft, it sounds like you have a c4 shaft and a c6 tranny.

82 can have a C-5, C-6 or an AOD transmission. Got to be one of either an AOD or C-6 if your driveshaft slip yoke doesn't fit. AOD has "Metric" stamped into the trans pan. C-6 doesn't have a remmovable bell housing, neither does the AOD.
