revers light swich

hey every one, does any one have an extra revers light swich?? cause my revers lights dont work an i need them for inspection an its up this month... sooo if any one has one plz let me know

I would bet that you could get that from Auto Zone or Napa or one of the local Parts stores. If not check AutoKrafters

Fits 1970 Maverick with 3-speed manual transmission and locking column. would it matter for the year of the car?? and my maverick is an automatice so would it work on my car??

 

What transmission you have does matter. It also matters if you have floor shift or column shift.

So what do you have?

 

its an auto on column c4 transmission. i whent to napa and mondays an they both dont have it.. mondays only showed up for manuel transmission.. he said just take it off an find the part number for it.. an i need the thing on befor the end of this month

 

O and would the back up swich be on the transmission???

 

it is at the bottom of the steering column inside the car.

 

Im actually trying to figure out where they are as well. You say at the bottom of the steering column inside the car.Are they the onces that clip on to a small board? If you have a picture that would be awesome.

 

I don't have a picture, but I am sure you can find a picture on-line in one of the wiring diagrams. Just look on ebay...I see tons of them on there.

 

It's the black thing with wires going to it.
