Came in to say hello, I just picked up a 70 maverick this weekend. I think I gotta pretty good deal on it. Solid body, solid floor. Buncha extra parts that i haven't even gone through yet. And a box of transmission parts, the guy completly dissasembled the transmission and put it in a plastic tub. Here some pics of it after I got it home.

I'm sure I'll be around to ask some questions. Probably the first one will be what to do with a box of transmission parts.

    Where are you from?

Is the body as nice as it looks?

I'm in North Carolina. And yes, the body is suprisingly solid. If it had a transmission it could be driven as is. I check the floor boards and trunk all solid. The bottoms of the doors are good to.

looks like it was a 6cyl originally, can hardly make out the vin. but nice high back buckets, sport steering wheel, and looks like a/c vents in the dash....

Love the traction bars . Isnt the c-4 trans getting a little rare? I would save the transmission. Also seems like a lot of 1970 mavericks lately:chirp::comet:

    VIN is 0K91T127471

Door tag says it was originally red, with a C4 and 3.08 gears.

I've never put a transmission together. Wouldnt be so bad if If was the one that took it apart.

C4's are GREAT and fairly easy to rebuild. I bet even if you paid someone it wouldn't be more than $300 :)
