I have a 3.5" that I am about to have shortened to install. I don't know of any that directly fit without modification

I've ran a ford racing aluminum driveshaft from a fox body mustang for years now, you just need to change out the rear u-joint.

Most Mid 90's and up Mustangs have Aluminum driveshafts, I doubt they will bolt right up but it may be a good place to start.

Not mid 90's, fox body Ford racing aluminum fits right in after a U joint swap, I ran the OEM steel version before the aluminum shaft, the 95-98 drive shafts are too long for the mavs- comets.

Yes the member here named "Shinysideup" has a Ford racing aluminum one in his Maverick that is for Fox mustang and he said it bolted right in.

That looks just like the one in my Mav. I had to get a different joint for mine. The Mav joint was too narrow to fit the driveshaft. The u joint cross is 2 different widths as mentioned to fit this shaft to the 8".

The correct U joint is precision part # 347

never mind, 347 is not the right joint. it has the correct end for the rear just the wrong caps for the drive shaft. found out after driving one of the caps ino my mustang driveshaft and stretching the eyelet out. also the clips are different.

I cant believe that out of everybody that has done this swap not a single one wrote down the part #
