    im about to buy a 73 comet, they are selling it to me for $3500. has a new engine 302. its been reupholstered. and new paint job. no rust that i know of. am i getting a good deal?? new to the comets. please help. will post pics on saturday. :huh:

    Could be. Check to make sure the cowls don't leak. Pour some water down the cowl opening in fromt of the windshield and make sure none comes into the interio:)r.

    Whatever the shifter costs as long as you do the work yourself. If you take it to a shop to be done who knows.:)

    Seems like a decent price, I've got more than that into my transmission.

    yea man the guy is a friend of my dad's, so he is giving me a good price i will post pics on saturday when i see the car again.
