Looks pretty nice to me. I'd check to make sure the cowls don't leak and see if there is any major rust underneath like the floorboards and torque boxes. If not I'd buy it for that price. :)

I think so. Does the A/C work? That's a plus. v-8 car also. If it's as nice as the photos show I think it's a real good price. I've got more than that in mine and it's no where near as nice as that yet.:)

Good luck with it. Remember, you can always offer him a little less and see if he takes it. :)

Nice looking. Better look it over real good. You might end up needing to put some cash into it. Remember, your not buying a new car. Alot more than looks to buying a car. Good luck, hope it all works out in your favor. :)

It looks nice! but since it's a comet try to see if they'll take 3 grand for it :D

Maverick/Comets were never muscle cars, but with a little intake, carb, cam & exhaust swap they can be :thumbs2:

And best of all you can do all those things and still make it appear stock, which is what that car has going for it.

I also have that same steering wheel:

Looks good. If you want stock, you'll need a Comet grill...

Looks like a fresh repaint to me. Might want to look that over real well.
