    The back window of it just caught my eyes when I first saw it. Can someone confirm if it is indeed a Maverick?

    I would second that car is something Australian, but I can't tell you what it is. It isn't any American car, and it looks too big to be from anywhere else in the world for that matter.

    I looks a bit like it has Chrysler roots ... reminds me a little of a 68-69 Barracuda.

    If they did shoot the commercial in Australia (quick jump from Japan, if Samsung is based there), the old Land Rover later in the commercial would match too.

    As it so happens, the Chrysler Charger is very similar to the 67-69 Barracuda. I just googled it, and I was right, it is an Australian Chrysler Charger. Don't know the year, though.

    Don't feel bad, I've seen the same thing at the theaters and also wondered what it was. Before I could look again, it would be gone. I thought Maverick too!
