As my name says, I am a noob to the Mavs. I'm saving up for one to hopefully restore and thought that it couldn't hurt to gain some knowledge on the subject from some people who are a lot more knowing. Good to meet all of you, and please try not to get upset at my inevitable stupid questions haha

Hello I have had a maverick for about 3 yrs,but its not my first one.In 1978 my folks gave me a 1974 maverick for graduation tha they bought new.I was needing to know if they have a ground strap going from the engine to the body.

You can make one easy and cheaply. 10 guage wire and two eye terminals. Go from negative post clamp ,to inner fender metal , or engine to body metal ground.:tiphat: Hope this helps.
