There a guy at one of the tracks that I race at that converted a bus. It is totally enclosed. That back half is for the car and the front half has a pretty awesome living room in it. He covered all the windows and in the front he carpeted the floor, walls and ceiling, put a couch, recliner, TV. I have thought about doing it, but I do not have the room for something like that right now.
Yeah right after i posted that i had seen that. Hmmm did anyone ever build that bus for them selves? lmao Now that we are all older and rich ahah
Not to throw a wrench into your project, but how do you open the car doors once you're inside the bus? I used to love Knight Rider when they'd pull the car into an 82" wide semi trailer and it looked like the inside of a warehouse! You'll have to have some kind of slide out so you can get out of the car.
Here you go http://s112.photobucket.com/albums/n182/wvbubba/bus pics/ and here are some pics of a different school bus
I like the axle count aspect. When I picked up my '72 in up state New Jersey from Southern Maryland, I paid over 100 bucks round trip for tolls because of the tandem axle trailer. I think the highway between Baltimore and Philly is made with titanium aggregate :16suspect
This Idea is beginning to sound really practical. The yellow buses ramp could be made retractable/hydralic. The cab could be a camper. My neighbor is building one of the small buses from the 50s, he's channeling the floor to lower it. He got the Idea from John Force.
