my car is getting a transmission fixed and while it is up on the lift i am trying to take care of a few things. what is your best guess on the source of a rattling noise on the front passenger side tire. happens when I go over bumps. car does not pull to the side. what is your best guess. thanks.
Srut rod bushings made an awful rattle over bumps in mine. Drove fine considering how bad they were when they came out.
My guess is the 2 rubber isolators on the bottom bolts of the shock. Highly overlooked by most. Let us know what it is.
the brake pad in the caliper. there are tabs on the out board pad that wrap around the caliper. they need to be kinda tight to keep the pad from moving around in the caliper. i will take some channel lock pliers and squeeze them tighter on the caliper.
I was going to sugest the pads are loose on the bracket. I had the same problem and that is what it was. The tabs were really hard to bend on mine though.
