Has anyone upgraded their locks to Solex Locks on their Maverick / Comet?

    Considering that all you need to do to start old Fords is run a wire from the battery + to the coil + and then touch a screwdriver across the solenoid battery/switch terminals a good hood lock could be a better investment.

    yep ; I got that covered , In my last pic i posted you can see the chain & lock behind the grille . I learned my lesson in HS when I found out someone I knew kept popping the hood open on my 63 Galaxie to show off the motor.:mad:..I still wasn't to pleased to find that out still. Felt like an invasion of privacy. Luckly nothing was missing or screwed around with..this is the lot in HS ..easy access no security

    anyways I want to prevent alot with the mav ; after all It was my 1st car.
    Plus hopefully once i get the kill switch & some wheel locks I can sleep in peace..
