What is it, and do i need it?

    just cleaning up the engine bay and i have no idea what it is or what its called so i can't find it on search lol. thanks guys.

    Starter interlock relay

    That is a crazy safety relay. Works with the driver seat belt buckle. If you want to start the engine you must EITHER buckle the drivers seatbelt OR you have to push that button on the relay to start the car. You can pull it out and jump the two heavy gauge wires together bypassing that federally mandated BS. This also works with that seatbelt warning lamp on the dash and the yellow plastic box under the center of the dash

    i don't have any wiring going to my belts or a fasten seatbelt thing...could i just cut it all out and be happy?

    ya i read that on the site there...but theres 4 wires. do i just cut the other 2 off ? because i dont want the plastic thing hanging in there either
