    getting prepped for going outside to cut the drivers side of my engine bay apart to patch it...should be fun..hopefully get it all done today or early tomorrow..then paint it. and get ready for everything to go in, should it be gloss black, hammer finnish (black) or semi? im thinking of trying hammer and if i dont like it change to semi

    If you don't like the hammer you're in for a ton of work to change it. That paint has got really good adhesion and a very noticeable texture. You'll have to strip it all off to go to regular black. I considered doing the hammered finish for awhile, my biggest problem is that you can't get a true black with the hammered stuff. Its more of a charcoal color.

    all the above and that it looks like you painted over an oily surface (fisheye).

    thanks for that...ended up going with a gloss black for now unless it looks to shiny after it all settles down. then its easy enough for me to semi- it

    I didnt do much to my car today, I just drove it:bananaman

    But yesterday I changed the water pump out in my car, took it down and got it safety inspected finally and mor importantly....

    I got this big brown box from Borgeson stuck on my doorstep. Guess I got my project for next weekend planned out.

    What is a good size battery to install in a non-A/C 69.5 Maverick with a 302, automatic transmission car? Thanks!!!!!

    Put the new Trico Classic series wipers on. Silver wipers look 100x better than the black ones.
