Here is my 70 (a.k.a. Maggie) after a lot of downtime and a efi, v8, and t5 swap....

still gotta do a little work on the tune but its pretty close to where i want it.....

first time the car has put its tires on actual pavement for over 2 years now...

brakes were terrible though... extremely soft and barely worked... i pulled the drums on the rear and half the stuff for the self adjusters were G-O-N-E, gone.... so im gonna take care of that tomorrow and see if it helps at all

    here are the vids... enjoy

I did my "test voyage" and was satisified until it came time to turn around and head back. I went to hit the brakes and had forgotten what its like to drive a drum brake car. I almost ended up in someones living room as I tried to turn around. THats when I decided to do the disc brake conversion. :)

yeah i cant say i know what you mean... i did the disk brake conversion before i ever even got to drive my car lol....

in the video you can see me test the brakes in the drive way and kinda hear my reaction to how terrible they were... fixed them today though... replaced all the stuff for the adjusters and rebled the whole system... drove like a completely different car :thumbs2:... even got to shift into second gear hahah

gonna swap injectors tomorrow to try to lean it out a little bit and take her to her first cruise in

Yeah I had forgotten how bad drum brakes are. Now I have the front end all tore down and am waiting until I can afford to buy all the ball joints and such for mine.

Could be because both wheels were turning backwards in the video right before you pulled into the driveway. :hide:

Glad to hear you're on the road
