    I'm starting to think about the AOD swap. Does the C4 speedometer cable and gear fit in the AOD? I know the gear wouldn't have the right number of teeth.

    I had to shave my upper tranny tunnel support on my '70 to accomodate the AOD. The rib that the crossmember bolts to. The upper tailshaft housing flange bolts were hitting it and preventing the bellhousing from mating with the rear of the motor. I dunno, maybe that's just unique to the 1970's smaller trans tunnel.

    The AOD fit just fine in my 72, i used franks crossmember and everything lined up perfectly...Now on the other hand I did have to cut it for my tremec TKO...but it was worth it:thumbs2:
