I found a wrecked 1972 comet that had been sitting for about twenty five years. I asked the guy if he would sell some parts off it he said yes so I got both sport mirrors with gaskets ,brackets for the air conditioning compressor, both front sport lamps, cigarette lighter with ashtray, package tray, brackets for the sport lamps, high low horn, windshield washer resevoir and pump, latch for the prop rod, vent for the air conditioning ,He said I could have the stock hubcaps and anything else I needed he was going to scrap the car I told him I would come back and get the rest he said ok he wasn't going to do anything with it till next spring, I gave him twenty-five bucks:yahoo: Sometimes if you look hard enough there are still deals out there:yup: .

Sounds like you really stepped in it this time.(y) You should go buy a lottery ticket. Everything up here in the Catskills has been long gone for years

I like to bring them back to my place. That is where all my tools are...plus a heated garage. (y)

Sounds like an interesting find. I use to know where my uncle's wrecked 72 GT was near Morgantown, WV. Some time ago, it disappeared. Probably went to scrap. I can remember riding with him and my aunt in that car. It was an experience. He died when I was 11 and my aunt died a few years after that. The memories. If you need something else, shoot me a line. I might have what you need and I'm in Arthurdale, WV - Matt
