What heads would a stock 95 { I think he said 95} Mustang GT roller motor come with, GT 40's, GT 40p's, or E7's? I would guess the cam is fairly tame, too? I've got a line on one from a friend, supposed to be a two owner car, less than 100,000 miles on it, just using some oil and they are going to replace it instead of build it. Just waiting on my friend to let me know for sure the price....

Thanks. I was hoping they might have GT 40's, but E7's will be fine for a street cruiser.:tiphat:

IIRC the only "cars" that ever got the GT40 heads were the cobras. The rest were only on trucks(SUVs).

E7s are pretty good stock. But can be made much better with a little work and elbow grease.

It's easy to tell, if there are bars on the ends of the head, then it's a GT40 head.

    If there's 3 bars they are GT40s, 4 bars = GT40Ps.

$100-150, you can usually find rebuilt ones for $300.

Then there's the "GT" and "GTP" cast up top in the corner next to the vavle cover rail. Same place the E6/E7 heads have an "S" or "T" cast.

Well, since it's supposed to be an untouched 95 model, there's no way it could have GT 40's then. Thanks for the info! :thumbs2: Haven't heard anything else yet, will let ya'll know when I do!:tiphat:
