Make sure the connections to the battery are clean. if they are...next step is to check the starter cylinoid located right next to the battery. Can you hear it clicking as you try to start the car?

Is the starter spinning or clicking? Try jumping the solenold with the key on? Motor locked up and won't turn?

Check all your battery cable connections! Terminal ends on the battery, ground cable to the engine block, both solenoid connections, connection to starter, should be taken apart and wire brushed or sanded to clean, bright metal! :)
    Happy Thanksgiving (y)

So the switch is humming...or the starter?

How do you know the battery is good?

Do you have a ground strap between the engine and frame

I would verify that it is the battery. Try the battery in another car and see if it will start that car.
