    Joe,
I'll be happy just to get it on the road. I am doing the wiring now and will do what body prep before paint during the winter. If I can paint it early summer of next year I'll have it on the road maybe by the end of summer. This is a driver that will see the road! That is based on how much gas I can afford

I was living in Glendora, CA in 1980. Can't say that I recall your Mav though. Good luck with your search. (y)

    Hey Red,
Small world, I am Glendora Class of 81 and worked at the Covina Kmart. Often on the weekends me and my Maverick were at the Covina In-N-Out.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
I think I'm the only person in California who hates In-N-Out.
I had a horrible experience the first time I went, never been back!

Ah yes, have eaten at that In-N-Out many times. We used to hang out at the Kenny Arcade(on Arrow Hwy and Sunflower) and the guys from Motley Crue used to hang out there before they made it big. New a girl that worked at the Wonder bread store(also on Arrow Hwy and Sunflower) and used to get free ding dongs and twinkies all the time. The good old days! :D

    Hey Red,
I use to play at an arcade also, I do not remember the name it was in a strip center. Did you know a Todd Stubbs, I worked with him at Kmart. He played drums with Motley Crue until they found a full time drummer.
I went back to CA two summers ago, it was my first time in 10 years. I could not get around to well. All the trees had grown up and I could not reconize anything.

I'm sure it was the Kenny Arcade, once the sun went down it was the place to be. That name doesn't sound familiar, but I think I'm a few years younger than you. Did you know a girl named Athena? It has definitely changed over the years. My Grandmother has had the same house there for about 45 years, so I get down there every couple of years. BTW the "1BADMAV" license plate is not available in California(somebody already has it), so it still could be on your old Mav. Maybe there is a way to track that license plate and find out where the car is.
