Hello gents! My first Maverick!!!!!

    Hello! I just purchased my first Maverick, a 1972 Coupe with 6 cyl, auto, factory air, all in prestine show condition. I'm anxiously awaiting it to arrive from Naples, FL, I live in upstate NY in The Finger Lakes Region. I'm 72, semi-retired car dealer, hate Mustangs, always wanted a Macerick coupe.
    Perhaps some of you guys know this car, it is white, blue vinyl seating, gorgeous paint, interior, etc. Have any of you Floridians in the Naples area ever seen this car? I plan on detailing it to the max and have some fun showing it this coming summer at the local car shows. I just joined this site this afternoon, look forward to learning more about my car and the general Maverick ownership.
    I'll see if I can submit a photo or two, here goes....
    Looking forward to some Maverick fun!

    Correct! I'm a used car dealer, I specialize in Miatas durning the summer months, have sold and delivered 134 of them. Best little sports car made, and they never break.
    I hope I have some fun with my "new" Maverick, looking forward to it. I HATE MUSTANGS!

    Do you remember what he was asking for it? Are you sure it's the same car? It is coming up from Naples, FL. I understand the owner had it for quite some time, he consigned it to a Mercedes dealer, and that's how I found it. Hope it's as nice as they said it was, as I'm extremely fussy.

    Someone re-posted the original ad, do not remember the price. And I am certain it's the same car, the pictures are amazing, very detailed. I think you will be very happy with it. (y)

    I'd like to see any ad for this Maverick, from Naples, FL. I'd like to see the actual ad....I bought t from a consigner who had the car for sale for the owner who didn't have time to sell it himself. Show ma ANY ad for this Maverick if possible...
