anybody know if this is a good rebuild kit?

    yes it isnt to bad but you could find it cheaper for the same quality

    Maverick1970 I saw those high performance kits for the c4 but which one is better?? I see 2 of them and that's a real low price,are they good? And where else can I find it

    Oh there fo different years lol didn't see that,will this kit hold up the power of a 12 sec car?

    If the kit includes the front band it is as good as it gets - in kit form. You should add to that kit a rear servo piston/seal assy, green stripe modulator, TransGo 40-2 reprogramming kit and a big cooler. Then it will stand up to 400-500 hp for a few years of hard use before you have to refresh it.

    I went to O-Rielly couple years back.
    They offered a $78 stock rebuild kit...and a $120 Performance kit (a little beefier kit like your link), so a little cheaper then $200

    Go with PaulS's suggestions if you want a 'tough' C4

    I prefer auto valve bodies for the street but if your cam doesn't leave 10" Hg vacuum you would be better off with a manual valve body.
    You need at least 10" Hg vacuum for the C4 to operate properly with a modulator.

    Really I work at Oreillys so I'll look it up

    And ill go with the auto one, I guess stage 3 or 4 for to get the best out of it too on the valve body
