Decided to go check out the Maverick at Pull-a-Part today. I was able to get the arm rest, V8 throttle cable/pedal, shock plates, filler neck to trunk floor seal I will be going back in the morning to gets the doors, quarter glass, speedometer cluster, manual center link and disc brake spindles. I'm thinking about getting the Grabber hood although it’s bent at the rear lip and missing the scoops. The doors are very nice and looks like it’s ready for paint (and they have tinted glass too). I figure at $45 each I wouldn't have to bother filling trim holes, swapping glass and rust repair on my door.

    More parts to get:
Floor shifter and hump, all shifter linkage and rods, floor shift column, V8 motor swap frame mounts, belly bar, trans crossmember, trans downshift rod, trans dip stick & tube, brake prop valve, trodlle cable intake bracket.

I have Grabber hood scoops I'll sell for $20 ea if you get the hood. Check the lip for rust.

Just to name a few parts the car may have, that you can sell.

Most of the V8 stuff along with the rest of the drive train is missing. The throttle cable was missing the intake bracket but I have an extra. I though about getting the battery tray/bracket and trunk lid.

Here's a few old Fords I wasted my time taking a photo of. 64 Galaxie, 67 Fairlane and 68 Mustang and 68 Ranchero.

Be sure to get the caliper bracket and mounting hardware. I know PNP will charge too much for the rotors and calipers even as cores.

Look there is no rust under the battery tray. That panel would be a good score.

I would grab the hood even though it is bent - you'll wish you did later on and it will be gone :)

that they are...like no rust..up here its not rare to see 12"x12" rust holes rotted right through quarter panels.

That shifter looks to be a Pinto item, narrower than what would come in our cars or a Mustang.

Don't mean to hijack this tread, but what does the "floor shifter hump" look like and is it attached with screws or ???
Reason I asked is that my 70 has a hole cut in the floor and an aluminum plate over the hole for the shifter...............kind of "Narley" looking and maybe I could make the floor shifter hump work and look halfway decent.
    Just a thought.

Keep in mind you have the small tunnel in your 70. The removable hump was used with the larger tunnel so I'm not sure if it would on your 70 :hmmm:
