I liked them both before I sold them to you. I am glad you are happy with them. I would not have sold the Grabber if I had not wanted to buy the Sprint Pinto and I just didn't need 2 GT's. I still like that Gold Glow color on the GT.

They both have their advantages. The Maverick has a streamlined front end. The Comet front end makes it look bigger than the Maverick. I like the Grabber hood. However, I like the hood scoop on the Comet GT better. I like the ducktail spoiler of the Grabber. The Mustang spoiler looks good on the GT. Stripe kits look good on both.

If I had to choose, I would prefer the GT, of which I still have one.

Technically the tail lights on the Comet came from a 70 Montego and the hood scoop came from a Cougar Eliminator, sport mirrors from the Maverick and interior from Maverick so the only thing original about the Comet is the hood and grill which are unique to the car. And why they never put a spoiler on a Comet is beyond me they could have stole that too.

With that being said this is proof that the Comet is really a parts car, parts of other cars :)

I like the hood scoop but dont like the tail lights but then I dont like the Maverick tail lights either.

Peace to all the Comet lovers to each thier own

No need for the hostility. This is a simple polling, not a bashing.. I think the Mav grill and hood lines are from a Camaro :16suspect

Since there are more Maverick Grabbers than Comet GT'S I would think this is probably biased. I like the Comet GT's better because I have owned 3 of them and a couple Mavericks. Not Grabbers. You can always get the Grabber spoiler and put it on a Comet GT like I did. So I guess this makes the Grabbers parts car.

I love the Grabber hood and I gotta check out the grabber spoiler close up one day.

However The tail panel on the Comet > Maverick tail panel and the comet hood and scoop are such huge factors for me.

Comet for life! (Even though I'll probably buy a grabber if one ever shows up around here)

This is how Mav owners feel, ashamed. Your on the road to recovery now that you've set yourself free :D

Lets see Montego, Cougar ELIMINATOR. Parts from Comets were'nt used on Pintos. By the way my PARTS CAR is a Maverick. We're all family.

I am sorry if I offended anyone , I did not mean to do that. No where in my post did I say I did not like a Comet or Comet GT several of my friends drive them and yes We are all family.

It has been an on going joke on this forum since it's debut about Comets being parts cars for Mavericks.

No no parts from a Comet were used on a Pinto they had the Bobcat for that. Oops did I say that.

Oh and I am also sorry I hijacked this thread and will refrain from it in the future

You are correct. The parking lights I think. Did Mavs even have parking lights? No offense. One reason I like to talk to people instead of this type of communication is that it is easier to spot sarcasm and when someone is kidding w/ you. I mean every thing I say in good fun.:D

You are 100% correct about the sarcasm and determining it on the internet. I try to stick by the golden rule of not saying anything if it isnt good unless I am joking.

BTW Comet got their parking lights from the Maverick , but the Maverick got them from the Mustang :D

The Cougar Eliminator hood scoop was NOT used on a Bobcat. I am a native Georgian and I can assure you it has been done here...somewhere. I like Bobcats and Pintos, but I'll vote for the Bobcat on the Pinto/Bobcat:biglaugh: forum.
