I'm about to put my Maverick up for sale, and I'm trying to get a general idea of what it's worth. It's a 1970 250 straight 6, it runs, and as far as I can tell it's all original. It needs some work, paint, minor surface rust, new dash pad, and repairing the driver seat where it's ripped. Overall, the car is very solid. So, any ideas on a fair price? Thanks!

Here's the link to the pics I just took, just a warning, there are a lot of them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/59122460@N03/

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
I'd say 1,500 is fair for the current market.

    Nice pics with the D40. I Wanna get a D3000 soon, or a D60.

I would say $1500 to $2000 because the car has factory AC.

Your car is a California car. The gas tank has the California emissions "stuff" on it. Pretty rare to see.

    Have it shipped!!! :D

In Texas, I say $600 to $1000 in todays market. And out of state buyers are going to be looking at shipping cost of $1000.

I had a Calif 71 Grabber, with bucket, hood and spoiler, in the same condition. I couldn't get a $1000 for it last year. Got over $1,500 parting it.

One thing I do know, you never know what a buyer will do, sometimes you get lucky. Start high and be patience.

    IMHO

Yeah. I was hoping for more than $1000 or $1500. So I am going to post it for more than that and see what happens. Thanks for your input everyone.

Their are defiantly some buyers looking right now. Seems that most cash offers were for $2000. FYI. So y'all were close. Lol.
