Wish my father had done something like that for me as a first car - you Sir, are a great dad, my compliments. :tiphat:

I like his paint scheme as well; it has given me an idea...

His car got hit on base so he brought it home to be stored and fixed. we always wanted a Grabber hood for the car and just so happens Rick had one for us. He says he will never sell the car. says it will be his Race Car some day.:thumbs2:

Sweet car. While he's deployed lets take a front spring out and cut a coil. And replace the painted front headlight buckets and hoodtrim with chrome, I got the pieces. I think those 2 things would really go good on the car. and he'd dig it when he saw it again.

Hey Ryan, he wanted it painted that way. the no crome but the bumper look. I got to figure out why it sits high. We got six cyl springs in it.

Was the suspension rebuilt? Maybe tightened the bolts to the bushing while it was in the air. Also I read somehwere in another thread that some of the 6 cyl. springs were heavier than the v8 springs based on year and options. But nothing a little time and a hacksaw cant fix.

True. It was a 75 so it had that big bumper on the front. I got a year to play with it.
