I wont buy anything that ships UPS. ITs outrageous what they charge. IF it crosses the border your screwed. USPS hasnt cost me a nickel across the border for duty etc. UPS charges duty on items it doesnt even apply to then you have to go through the hassle of getting your money back from the government. Then the brokerage fees on top of that plus the shipping cost. I got burned on an item off ebay. Shipping was 30 dollars but didnt notice UPS. IT came to 95 dollars to get my item off them at the UPS depot.:mad:
TO top it off the girl was a miserable old hag with a smoke hanging out of her mouth. I told her shes not allowed to smoke in the workplace or public buildings. She pulled the smoke from her wrinkled old lips and says, Open the door if you dont like it. Not relevant to the shipping cost since I already paid but quite the experience.

    I feel your pain man,

UPS, FEDEX, etc. In Mexico they charge what they want it suppose that we need to pay taxes and fees but they charge what they want i believe is a policy or something outside the US.

I do not buy nothing unless can be sent throw USPS, it takes a little bit longer but it arrives. On December i got several items for my maverick from ebay, and they sent it to me via usps.

That is why i do not buy @ JEGS or SUMMIT. Is there another place that use USPS.

    Regards

Awesome, I am going to grab a set and the springs first. Probably look around locally first!

The mav is gone but i'm still here!

That sucks, especially since UPS is a million times better than USPS over here in the states.

If they didn't charge the extra fees I bet they could make even more money, on every forum I'm on every Canadian says to avoid UPS shipping.
So much that it's probably costing them more in lost sales than the fees they charge!

I do believe the Granda 5 leafs will get ur car up 'crazy high". I have the
GS 4 leafs on mine, running 70 series "27in. " tires and have abt 37.5mm clearance abv the fender lip. How much higher do u need to be?

The only reason I'd use Granada springs is to get the back end of a Maverick up for some huge slicks like in the 70s. I have a pro stock Maverick hood scoop that would look pretty cool on something like that.

this concept has crossed my mind many times(70s build). i have access to a set of 10 inch rear slot wheels that would look awesome under a jacked up mav/comet. the pro stock scoop would be icing on the cake to a 70s style build
